Easy create events in your calendar while chat with this Calendar Bot

1. How it works

Calendar Bot appears in your gTalk contacts list. You can send him a message using the syntax of the QuickAdd Calendar feature. Calendar Bot will add an event to your Google Calendar and replies back with the link to this newly created event. By following the link you may edit Google Calendar event details, add attendees, etc.

2. To start using Calendar Bot

Simply invite to chat this gTalk (Jabber) contact or add contact in your gTalk (Jabber) IM client. 

Calendar Bot will send you back an authorization link, where you should grant it access to your Calendar (works with Apps domains).

 
 

Known Issues

  1. Sometimes Calendar Bot may be offline. You still may send him a messages, they would be received and processed after Calendar Bot restore his connection.
  2. If events always added at the time when message sent to Calendar Bot (even if exact time is specified in the message), try to set Google Calendar interface language to English.

3. Privacy

Calendar Bot stores your email and two specific authorization keys. Calendar Bot does not know and does not need the password to your Google Account. Calendar Bot has access only to your Google Calendar. Transaction between Calendar Bot and Google API is encrypted using SSL. Text messages of events received by Calendar Bot from you are used only to fill the Google Calendar API QuickAdd function parameters. This messages are not stored, and not transferred to anyone except Google.

This software is not yet affiliated with Google.
